Bounded.

I can never forget that cold winter night. I was just five, limping on that road, almost moving with no speed, looking here and there for some help. I was so hungry that I would've eaten anything. I even checked dustbins but got nothing. It would have been my last night if only that guy wouldn't have taken me to his home. He gave me food and next morning took me to a doctor. Since that day it has been 15 years. I can easily understand his language now. My previous owner threw me out because I was weak. But this guy is altogether different, he took me in just because I was weak and needed somebody.

He made a home for me outside his home. He took care of me and played with me every day, but he never tied me with a rope. Even I have made many mistakes, I have chased cats in the house, I have broken things and at times I have been too much to handle by anybody. But he never beat me, tied me with a rope or put me into the cage, he just changed the place he kept things. So many afternoons I have spent roaming on the roads, but at the end of the day, I would come back to him.

I have seen others of my kind in the cage, tied with belts on the neck, where if they resist much they'll get choked and every time I see them I appreciate my keeper even more.
