Can you rewind? Yeah, just a little. Let’s revisit your childhood. You are a kid, who looks at the birds and dreams of flying in the sky. You are fascinated by their degree of freedom. To get the similar feeling, you started to play with the paper planes. And for the same reason, you’re a big fan of Iron Man because that’s the coolest way to achieve your dream. You are growing with a strong belief that you will succeed one day. But you also know that it is very difficult to gain that success. Even, at sometime, something within you tells you to give up that faith in yourself. But wait, you love cartoon characters and the good thing about them is that they never give up. And you decided to do the same.

Now, let’s move to your teenage days. You just got done with your school and aiming to become an engineer. Your parents put you in some dignified JEE classes, because that’s the least they can do for you. You started to study with the hopes of getting into IIT. But, by the time you realize how much hard work it takes to get into one, you are already in some regional engineering college. And that is where your dream really starts to fade. You know that with your level of hard work you are not going to get what you always wanted. You still decide to aim high and work hard in the future.

As time passes, you come to know that you are actually doing good. You are too busy in bunking classes, having fun and all that teenage swag. You are too fascinated by the glamorous world aroun you that you can’t even snap out of it. Day by day you are losing the remaining faith. You are waiting for a job offer from some IT company, so that you can continue with your luxurious life or should I say the planned life. Eventually, someday you will get married and will have few kids like every other common person.  You will keep hoping that one day your children will make your dream come true.  'Living on hopes' was your strategy from the start after all. Thank you very much for not giving up.

As a kid, you did your job perfectly. You dreamt high. As a teenager, you started falling. You did nothing. Your deeds never synchronized with your dreams. What you dreamt and what you did was totally different. You failed miserably. But the truth is, you didn’t fail. That was actually the first step towards success. You should not give up that easily. You tried, now you need to try even harder. So, laugh at your past and recall your dreams. Beause, it is never too late to start once again and as the quote goes 'Its better late, than never' !
